Preschool Corner - Content

Dear Rachel,
This week we learned about what it means to be content. Being content with what God has given us gives us a thankful heart, and it makes us less prone to complain and compare. The opposites of contentment are envy, jealousy, complaining, and coveting.
Be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5b)
We practiced writing the letter Gg, learned our new site word "like", and continued encouraging the budding artist in you. You could color all day if I let you.
Abby is developing a love for art supplies. Dumping the bucket of colored pencils onto the floor 5,000 times and scribbling on the walls in purple marker were among her artistic feats this week.
Art makes Mommy tired.

What a cute blog! Love your pictures and your ideas. I was wondering where you got your letter practice writing sheets? Did you make them? Also, I am trying to figure out what site words to start with for my son. Do you have a list that you work from?
Thanks!
Kelly

I love that you write your posts as letters to your kiddos! So sweet!
I believe this is my first time to your blog, came over from Homeschool Creations. I love how your post is written directly to your daughter. It looks like you had a great week!
Thanks ladies! I'm having fun taking a look at your blogs too. :)
Love the blog...and your pictures look so great! I guess I need to get better at taking mine!
What a fun site! I love your layout. Being content is something I need to work on.
Visiting from Preschool Corner and loving your idea of letters to your girls. I am thinking that we need to work on being content here too :)
